These succulent brownies (pecans & chocolate chips optional) are easy to make and go fast! The only thing to keep in mind is to keep bake times low to keep them from drying out.
- Melt butter and blend with Cocoa.
- Add sugar, vanilla, salt, flour and eggs and mix well after each ingredient.
- Microwave the pecans on a plate for 1 minute, mix and microwave again for 1 minute. This toasts them nicely and while hot cut them into pieces with a knife or crumble with your fingers. Add this (and a cup of chocolate chips if desired) to your mix.
- Bake at 200°C (30-35 minutes) until a crust has formed and a knife runs through clean.
