Description

These succulent brownies (pecans & chocolate chips optional) are easy to make and go fast!  The only thing to keep in mind is to keep bake times low to keep them from drying out.

Ingredients

1⁄4 c
Butter
6 T
cocoa powder (or 1 bar of baking chocolate (200g))
1 c
Sugar
1⁄2 t
vanilla
1⁄4 t
Salt
1⁄3 c
Flour
2  
egg
1 c
pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and blend with Cocoa.
  2. Add sugar, vanilla, salt, flour and eggs and mix well after each ingredient.
  3. Microwave the pecans on a plate for 1 minute, mix and microwave again for 1 minute. This toasts them nicely and while hot cut them into pieces with a knife or crumble with your fingers.  Add this (and a cup of chocolate chips if desired) to your mix.
  4. Bake at 200°C (30-35 minutes) until a crust has formed and a knife runs through clean.
