This last weekend was extremely productive! (Aside from a few games of Trivial Pursuit and Ticket to Ride - but that was where the fun came in!) Steph and I worked together to get through all of the tedium of cleaning up our storage space, moving around furniture, organizing the things we brought from Toronto, and finally - marking out the space for where the crib and co-sleeper will be going. We finally agreed on a crib, as yet to arrive.
Through it all, I've had this undeniable urge to clean and arrange things - even to the point of exhausting myself. I just keep feeling like "time is running out" and the baby can come anytime (well, preferably after the 36 week point so that I can still deliver at the hospital of our choice!). I also feel like I can't relax while there's something yet undone. The activity isn't limited to baby things - we also re-organized our bathroom and office space. I think Steph's just happy once I tire myself out so that I'm finally resting!
Braxton Hick's are my new friend - happens whenever I forget to drink enough water in a given day and then proceed to exert myself too much. I can see how people would think it's labour - especially when you're hit a few times in a row! I just relax and sit down and try to drink something.
So for the curious - in translation of the title of this post, I'm into my 29th week. Am officially into the third trimester. I can understand the woman in the birth video we recently watched in prenatal class saying "It's finally over!". I want my body back!
