Spent an evening in Dublin to pick up my passport. While there had the pleasure of listening to the U2 concert as well as visiting the Book of Kells, The National Art Gallery of Ireland, and The Chester Beatty Library at Dublin Castle. The latter two are free exhibits.
I was most impressed by the illustrations of Harry Clarke for Hans Christian's Anderson's fairy tales. Here is a copy of the picture of the wild swans (now owned by the National Art Gallery of Ireland).
