Sandy passed, Halloween is upon us!
Quiet time to myself for a change for some introspection. I'm reminded how much of an introvert I can be and how refreshing it is to be blissfully alone. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade my husband, son, and dog for the world. Taking advantage of the quiet to post a blog post.
Preparation for Hurricane Sandy meant clearing the yard, piling up leaves, putting away the lawn furniture and BBQ. I don't have to worry about the wasp infested bird feeders as they've up and blown away. I may or may not find them in the clean up of our yard. The ground is covered in a carpet of leaves. Its refreshingly beautiful outside after the rain and the wind. I forget how much I love the fall weather until I smell the crushed damp leaves and feel the wind.
On Wednesday, I'm hoping to give out goodies at our front door with the K-man. He's also got a halloween party at his daycare. I love having a son, reminds me of what the world seemed like when I was little. Sometimes I miss those days, and then I remember, and am happy for today.
