Apple Crisp
Ingredients:
- 1000 ml Sliced, Peeled Apples
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Water
- 50 ml All Purpose Flour
- 30-75 ml Brown Sugar (depending on the tartness of the apples)
- 175 ml Quick Cooking Oats
- dash of salt
- 50ml of soft Butter or Margarine
Instructions:
I usually layer the apples with the crumble.
- Place apples in a 1.5 L casserole dish
- Sprinkle apples with water and cinnamon
- Combine all the dry ingredients
- Add butter to the dry ingredients, mix till it's crumbly
- Sprinkle crumble over fruit
- Bake uncovered at 190° for approximately 30 min or until fruit is tender and topping is golden brown
