Creaky scale... what is this?!
So, the last two Sundays I have weighed myself. The first Sunday, I couldn't believe my eyes 178lbs... that's 2lbs less than usual. Yet, 2lbs is not something to jump up and down about since your daily up and down of weight fluxuation can be well more than that. The second Sunday I weighed myself and 176lbs. Ok, now that is impressive. I'd much rather fluxuate on the lower side than the 185lbs I'd been seeing before. I must be doing something right!
With that in mind, I have continued to avoid wheat and to subject myself to strict portion control as well as healthy food choices. During the week, my breakfast is 1/4 cup of soaked nuts accompanied by 2 servings of fruit (a whole peach, some papaya, an apple). I'm drinking lots of water. Lunch is a small portion but I accompany it with a small pot of greek yogurt and another fruit. Dinner is soup or salad and a small portion of whatever we have available.
Excercise, is difficult given the busy mom lifestyle, mutliple engagements that I'm organizing, work, and visits from friends. Still, managed a 20 minute brisk walk today and my legs are thanking me for it. I realise that kickboxing must excercise different muscles if I should feel my other muscles after doing a such a walk once in awhile. Reminds me of the need to constantly change things up so that I can maximize the benefit.
