Sleep or lack thereof
In the middle of the night, a cry sounded from the depths of darkness. Usually, we hear him shout closer to 5 or 6AM. This time, I was informed by my sleep drugged husband that K-man was in fact awake at 1:30AM. We had finally gone to bed at roughly 11PM and so being awoken after only a few hours of sleep - I surprisingly had thought it was morning. Back to sleep we go after managing to settle the little one only for him to continue waking up sporadically every few hours. Finally, at about 5:30AM the whole family was in the guest bed and K managed to snooze. By quarter to 7AM he was up again and it was time for us to drag ourselves up.
Was it the ginger and broccoli in his supper that caused him to wake up so frequently? Or was it that he was teething, yet again? The reason eludes me.
Result? My thinking is sluggish today. My attention span short. I'm looking for something - sugar, food, drink? Really we all know its sleep. Gosh, its amazing how debilitating it can be.
